A person was rescued in Woolwich yesterday evening (September 29), after threatening self harm at the ferry terminal.
The Gravesend lifeboat was launched at 7.20pm - to reports of a person "intent on self-harm".
RNLI and Marine Police crews located the casualty, who was sat on a wall on the inside of the north ferry terminal.
After a while, the casualty climbed back over the wall - where they were taken into the care of shore side police.
The lifeboat was then returned to station.
