The Blackwall Tunnel was closed northbound this morning, causing traffic chaos.
A102 tailbacks were reaching as far as Sun-in-the-Sands at around 9am, causing delays of around 35 minutes.
The reason for the closure was Thames Water works in Cotton Street, which were causing heavy traffic back through the tunnel.
When will the Blackwall tunnel route ever be fixed to stop being such an utter disaster.
