Greenwich Comedy Festival is returning to the National Maritime Museum for five nights of big-name comedy in September.

Superstar names at the Magners-sponsored festival from September 16 to 20 include Reginald D Hunter, Rich Hall, Adam Buxton, Bridget Christie, Jerry Sadowitz, Richard Herring and Henning Wehn.

The 2015 edition of the festival will be the biggest yet with two stages hosting an enormous roster of talented names.

This year there will even be an orchard – The Magners Orchard – a free-to-enter new bar and entertainment area serving up food, drink, cabaret, music and comedy.

Promising acts will also go mic-to-mic in front of a judging panel of comedy heavyweights in the Magners New Comedy Act 2015, with the final at the festival.

Festival producer Cass Briggs said: “We can’t wait to be back at the National Maritime Museum. Last year’s festival set the bar pretty high but we’ve still managed to add even more comedy this year plus the fantastic Magners Orchard so are quietly confident that this year’s edition will be even bigger and better than before.”
