A cycling club which helps people with disabilities take part in the sport has reopened in a new Eltham home.

Unique, run by Limited Edition Cycling, will now meet ever Saturday at Stationers' Crown Woods Academy.

And the all ability club now has a Velo Plus wheelchair transporter bought with £3,000 donated by the Rotary Club of Greenwich.

Chairman Ollie Golding said: "At Limited Edition Cycling, we believe in the individual and if given the right support and the right equipment, anyone can enjoy the thrill of cycling as a social activity or sport.

"Unique is an all ability cycling group which allows access to that support and that equipment, and instead of focusing on a disability, it aims to empower riders, parents, carers and families to be able to take part together."

Guests for the official re-opening included Eltham MP Clive Efford and Deputy Leader of Greenwich Council Councillor John Fahy. Help was given by G4S Facilities Management.

Unique sessions cost £1 per rider, with a carer going free, and  run every Saturday from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. Email unique@limitededitioncycling.co.uk
