Plumstead High Street was closed last night (March 12) following a serious collision between a car and a lorry.
Two people taken to Queen Elizabeth II hospital in Woolwich, after being treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service, who were called at 9.39pm.
A man in his 30s was treated at the scene for chest and back pain, but his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
The High Street was closed both ways from Lakedale Road for roughly three hours, before being reopened around 1am.
A spokeswoman for London Fire Brigade confirmed that nobody had been trapped in either of the vehicles.
