Thirty-five firefighters and six fire appliances were sent to deal with a blaze at a storage depot in Woolwich Road in Charlton this morning (January 26).
It is believed that a 20x10 metre structure caught fire and a digger was destroyed.
The London Fire Brigade were called at 3.09am this morning and the fire was under control 5.34am.
London Ambulance Service was placed on standby but there were no injuries.
Firefighters remain at the site.
