You'll want to leave your light on for this Greenwich lampshade designer - currently appearing on hit ITV dating show Take Me Out.

The 25-year-old Vannessa Agyemang, who has a degree in interior design, was scouted to appear in the show by Take Me Out producers.

Miss Agyemang, from north Greenwich, has experience in modelling and had been single for four years prior to the show.

She is also the founder and designer of home decor brand Copper Dust.

Already a big Take Me Out fan, the model was scouted by ITV producers through her social media profile.

She said: "I watched it a lot at uni, when I told my friends about it, they were like, you have to do it, you've watched it so much."

The popular dating game show has been running since 2010, and is on its seventh series as well as having a spin off show Take Me Out, The Gossip. The original show is now presented by King of Dating comedian Paddy McGuiness.

Miss Agyemang: "It was really fun, I enjoyed working with Paddy, he's hilarious."

Take Me Out, whose new series has around 3.27 million viewers, focuses on one man trying to secure a date with one of 30 single women contestants.

Miss Agyemang, who is sworn to secrecy over whether she bags a date in the programme, said the diversity of contestants was great and she enjoyed meeting new people.

When asked what the best part of the show was for her, she replied: "Meeting up with the girls, there were so many people from all around the country."

And she added: "It has made me more outgoing, I'm glad they contacted me."
