People interested in saving a Charlton pub are being urged to join the community campaign - not a rival website set up by a local businessman.
Campaigners have six months to put together a business plan that would stop The White Swan being sold off, potentially for redevelopment as flats or a supermarket.
A community benefit society, a legal entity that can raise funds through the issuing of shares, has been set up by a working group, who want as many people as possible to get involved.
But one man has broken away from the group, setting up his own Twitter page and a website remarkably similar to the official one, urging people to donate money to a different account.
Anyone interested in getting involved with the official campaign should visit the Save the White Swan SE7 Facebook page, follow @SaveWhiteSwanSE7 on Twitter or go to savethewhiteswanse7.uk
