Greenwich was the place to be at the weekend to see Darth Vader, racing presenter John McCririck and pantomime horses brought together in London's maddest annual event.
The London Pantomime Horse Race saw competitors race through the town centre, stopping for drinks in pubs along the way, while being cheered on by a battalion of Stormtroopers and even Lord Vader himself.
And this year television pundit John McCririck donned his infamous deer-stalker, providing commentary and giving expert tips on who to back in the field before starting the race.
Speaking beforehand, he said: "Yes, I have broadcast from The Grand National, The Cheltenham Festival and The Epsom Derby, but the crowning jewel in my 33-year career will definitely be the London Pantomime Horse Race."
This year, the race raised cash for the Demelza hospice charity.
Organiser Mark Biddiss said: "It was won by The Coach & Horses pub owing to a drunken stewards enquiry. The Pelton Arms also won, however they literally fell apart at the finish line."
