A former bank is set to open as a pub in Woolwich next week.
The old Equitable House in General Gordon Square, once home to the Woolwich, has been lovingly transformed into a drinking spot by the Antic collective to open on October 30.
Built in 1935, the building retains its mix of grand marble and the décor is a quirky, vintage mix inspired by its original function.
As is the name, Woolwich Equitable.
It will serve a wide range of ever-changing beers, wines and spirits and a kitchen will open shortly after the launch.
