A Kidbrooke mum arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences is the sister of muslim fanatic Iftekhar Jaman who died in Syria after taking part in an assault on an arms depot.

Tamannah Shaharin, 29, lives with her husband Muhib 'Mo' Khan and their baby son at a £500,000 house in Wricklemarsh Road, Kidbrooke, which police raided early on Tuesday morning (October 14).

She is the sister Iftekhar Jaman, 23, who died last December, after bragging on the BBC's Newsnight that the "holy war" was like "five-star jihad" because it was so "relaxing".

Jaman’s dad Enu Miah, 57, and mum Hena Choudhury, 48, were among four people held in dawn raids in Portsmouth.

Thames Valley police have said the arrests were linked to suspected terrorist activity in Syria and not any immediate threat to the UK.

As police continued searching the house in Kidbrooke yesterday, neighbour David Coombe, 56, said: "She moved in here about two years ago when she got married to Mo. He's a lovely man who works as a chemist.

"I've known his parents Manik and Shahana for a long while, they're such a nice family. They've also got two daughters who go to school.

"Manik works at a Bangladeshi restaurant. He's very hard-working, spends a lot of time there in the evenings. He's a very friendly and calm man.

"The whole family are Muslims and they go to a local mosque.

"I've never had any problems with them, they've been perfect neighbours, which is why I was so shocked when I saw the police at the house.

"I'm shocked about Tamannah being arrested over terrorism - she doesn't strike me as a terrorist. She had a baby boy about a year ago.

"I was woken around 6.15am by the sound of the police shouting and banging on the front door.

"There were a number of police vehicles outside and parked further along the street.

"Some of the officers were searching the house and others were taking pictures of it.

"I saw the police leading out Mo, Manik and Shahana to a police van, and the baby was with them, but I didn't see Mo's wife leave the house.

"The family have lived here for over 10 years. I often chat to Manik although his English is not great. He's always very polite and friendly to me.

"Mo's wife moved in two years ago. They got married around the same time. I don't think she works. She looks after the baby at home."

The couple are thought to have married in July 2012. They appear to have gone on their honeymoon to a luxurious villa in the Maldives shortly after their wedding day.

She posted a picture to her Facebook page in August 2012 showing her relaxing on a sunbed at a secluded resort in the sun, just a few steps away from the sea.

And then in January 2013, the couple flew to Bali for another lavish break.

She posted a picture to her friends online, describing their reception as a beautiful garden overlooking the ocean.

But at the beginning of this year, a picture of four dead roses wrapped in a pink bow appeared on her page.

A comment from the account, believed to be hers, said: "On my wedding night my husband presented me with these four roses and told me that as I left my brothers behind my home, here are these four roses to represent my brothers in the place I will be living now.

"I've kept them since. And today I look at them thinking my brother has left me behind."

A neighbour at her Kidbrooke home said she remembered they had a party at the house after the wedding and erected a banner outside saying congratulations to the couple.

One neighbour said: "She's a quiet, polite and pretty woman.

"She doesn't say very much but we've never had any problems with the family at all because they keep themselves to themselves.

"I'm shocked at what has happened. You never know what's going on behind closed doors."
