Celebrities will take to the court in Greenwich alongside the world’s greatest tennis stars in November.

Federer, Djokovic and Nadal will be among the racket-wielding heroes joining famous faces at the launch of the ATP World Tour Finals on November 7.

The event will support the Samuel L Jackson-led male cancer awareness charity One For The Boys and is a curtain raiser for the planet’s biggest indoor tennis tournament at the O2 from November 9 to 16.

Six-time champion Roger Federer said: “I’m looking forward to what should be a great night.

“As players, we do like to give back wherever possible, whether that’s through charities or our own foundations.

“It’s always special when all the players can come together as a group, together with the ATP, and support a great cause. Hopefully the fans will come out and support us, and we look forward to putting on a great show.”

Federer. Djokovic and Nadal have already qualified to be among the eight singles players at the tournament and the battle for the five remaining spots is tight, with Andy Murray sitting just outside the spots at the moment.

Since 2011, the tournament has raised more than £1.2 million for charity. It has also welcomed more than 1.25 million fans in the five years it has been at the O2.
