Vic White, Steve White, Sally Lindsay and Louie White at the hospice in Eltham.
FAMILIES using the Demelza Hospice in Eltham were joined by a Coronation Street actress at their party on Sunday (January 6).
Former star of the ITV show Sally Lindsay, who played Shelley Unwin in the sitcom between 2001 and 2006, attended the party with her partner and two twin boys.
They joined families on the dance floor and took part in the tombola and enjoyed a selection of food from the buffet.
There was also entertainment from Eltham-based dance group Krazy Katz.
Sally said: “Having recently had two boys I appreciate how lucky I am to have healthy children and how easily it could be me needing to use the services of a children’s hospice.
“I urge people to do as much as they can to support this fantastic facility.”
Demelza provides care and a place to play, relax and recharge for 800 children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families.
