A FIRE which tore through a flat in Deptford is under investigation this morning (December 12).
About three quarters of the home on the ground floor of Deloraine House, Tanners Hill, was destroyed in the blaze which started at around 3am.
Firefighters took around an hour to put out the flames.
A man was in the property when the fire began and he managed to get himself out before firefighters arrived.
