Five people have been arrested after a teenager was reportedly assaulted and robbed in Gravesend.

Police were called to the alleged robbery in Ordnance Road at 7.15pm last night (July 27).

Two men aged 25 and 18, and three boys aged 17, 17 and 16 were subsequently arrested.

Ambulance crews confirmed that the 18-year-old victim was assessed for head injuries and taken to Darent Valley Hospital for further treatment.

A SECAmb spokesman said: “The caller gave the patient’s age as 18 but this could be an estimate.

"One car and one ambulance attended the scene."

The 25 and 18-year old men have been bailed to return to the police station on September 26 pending further enquiries.

The three teens were bailed to return to the police station on August 12.

Enquiries are ongoing.
