There is congestion on the approach to the Dartford Crossing
Expect delays between Swanley and the Dartford Crossing this morning (May 16) because of over-running roadworks.
Drivers are warned to allow extra time for their journeys because of the works, which were meant to finish in the early hours of this morning.
The right-hand tunnel had to be closed just after 6am, because of an oil spill from one of the maintenance vehicles.
All lanes have now re-opened, but congestion remains on approach to the river crossing.
The level of traffic at 7.30am
Meanwhile, there is also slow moving traffic on the A2 London-bound, between Northfleet and Dartford.
