There was nine miles of traffic following a crash on the A2 near Gravesend this morning (March 11).
Two lanes were closed after the accident, which involved a car and a lorry, on the A2 London-bound after Southfleet Road (Pepperhill).
There was congestion on the M2 as far as Junction 1 for the A2 Watling Street.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "We were called at 6.30am on March 11, following a collision on the London-bound carriageway of A2.
"The incident occurred close to the junction for Gravesend and involved a car and a lorry.
"No injuries have been reported."
Lanes one and two (of four) were closed.
