The arts of Gravesend was on full show as adults and children alike got involved with the national Fun Palaces enterprise.
Children, as well as adults, were able to get involved with the event for free
The aim was to combine the arts with sciences for everyone involved.
The Web-based Organiser of the weekend, Rich Cottee, said: "Considering the limited time we had to set it up, it was good.
Arts and crafts were on display throughout the weekend
"It was the first event of its kind in Gravesham Arts.
"The reason it’s a great event is because it’s supposed to combine arts and science which is a great interest to children and families.
"It was a way for the children in particular to engage with the two disciplines for free."
TOP STORIES: The event was held at the beginning of the month (October) in Gravesend Library on Saturday and progressed to Gravesham Arts on the Sunday.

Arts and crafts, meditation sessions and talks took place across the two days.
Mr Cottee is hopeful that the event will go ahead next year so long as funding can be acquired.
He is looking into ways the event can bring together the arts and sciences even closer together.
Across the country 138 local, temporary Fun Palaces were up and running by local people for their own communities.
