An adorable Alaskan Malamute has reached his one year anniversary at Battersea Brands Hatch, despite being viewed by nearly 400 potential owners.
Three-year-old tenacious Theo is a "stunning" dog with "striking eyes - one electric blue and one dazzling brown.
Having been rescued from the streets, Theo has now been at the Brands Hatch home for nine times longer than the average pooch - 500 of whom arrive at the centre every year.
Rehoming and welfare manager Michelle Bevan said: "Theo really has something special about him, winning over the hearts of so many staff and people who have met him since he arrived with us a whole year ago.
"He is a beautiful boy with lots of love to give.
“Staff at Battersea Brands Hatch have spent lots of time caring for Theo and training him and he is a completely different dog now to when he first arrived as a stray."
Theo also lived in a foster home for a short period, sharing his home with another dog.
Ms Bevan added: “Our handsome Theo is energetic, mischievous and loves a fuss from the people who he has built a bond with."
