Queues mounted after three lanes were closed on Watling Street's London bound route, after the accident at 7.05am today (Aug 19).

The 20-year-old biker was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital, suffering from leg pain.

One driver who witnessed the accident told News Shopper: "It all happened so quickly.

"The bike was going some silly speed.

"He narrowly missed two vans and then collided with the car in front when he went to change lanes.

"The traffic was all slowing down, getting congested up to Pepper Hill.

"He was only a youngster, in his 20s.

"It was quite a mess - the biker was probably the worst.

"The bike just completely crumpled, there was a hole in his own fuel tank.
