A police helicopter was hovering over Gravesend in the early hours of this morning (July 7) after thieves attempted to steal three cars from a residential street.
Kent Police officers were called to Hampton Crescent at around 1.30am to a report of suspicious activity.
When they arrived it appeared thieves had attempted to steal three cars.
A Kent Police spokesperson confirmed a 29-year-old man and 33-year-old man are currently in custody in connection with the incident.

The helicopter was called to assist with the search for suspects.
Officers seized one of the cars for forensic examination and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
