Police investigating an alleged burglary in Gravesend have issued an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to.

A man reportedly broke into a house in St Francis Avenue at around 7pm last Monday (June 15) and ran away when he was disturbed.

It is not thought anything was stolen, but a window was damaged.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged between 20 and 30, around 5ft 10in tall, of slim build and had dark hair which was combed forward.

He was tanned, had tattoos and is thought to have had a local accent.

He was described as wearing grey jogging bottoms, which were tucked into his socks, a bluey-grey sweater and was carrying a black bag.

Witnesses to the incident or anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit image is asked to contact Detective Constable Tony Devito at Kent Police by calling 01474 366077 and quoting crime reference XY/020526/15.
