Ironically, Al Pacino waits until he’s playing a rock star before he dials down the amplifier from 11 for the first time in years. Instead of shouty Al, he’s charming and loveable as a cheesy star whose not had a hit in years. When a long-lost letter from his idol John Lennon that turns up he’s inspired to wind in his extravagant ways and rediscover his music and find the grown-up son he’s never met.

SHOPPING – Get Set for Summer event at Erith Riverside Shopping Centre from noon on Saturday
A Gok Wan tribute walkabout will be the main event at the shopping centre’s day of discounts offers and beauty workshops. From noon to 2pm there will be lots of entertainment while shops will have offers, demonstrations and competitions throughout the day.
