Queues mounted on the A2 following a four car collision at 8.30am this morning (May 20).
Two people have been taken to the Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham, following the accident at Watling Street, London bound, before the A227 Wrotham Road / Tollgate Services.
They are not thought to have serious injuries.
A South East Coast Ambulance spokesman said: "We were called at almost half 8 to reports of a collision with four vehicles involved.
"We sent a car and two ambulance crews to the scene.
"Everyone was out of their vehicles, described as walking wounded.
"One patient had neck pain.
"The two ambulances that attended went to the Medway Maritime with separate patients."
Kent Police were also called to the incident, and one lane was closed.
A recovery is currently being organised for the vehicles that remain in the road.
There is some debris in the road.
