A Gravesend kitchen was left filled with smoke when a resident took their eye off their cooking.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) were called to a house in Parrock Street at 4.20pm yesterday (May 14).
When they arrived they found a smoke logged kitchen, small fire and smoke damage.

A KFRS spokesman said: "The cause of the fire is believed to have been from the cooker igniting cooking oil from unattended cooking.
"Crews gave occupiers safety advice around the dangers of leaving cooking unattended, they also advised about the unsafe cooker and electric sockets following the fire."
