As temperatures soar today, Gravesend has been declared the hottest place in the country.
The Met Office tweeted earlier that a temperature of 23.2°C was recorded at 11.44am.
That has since increased to 24.6°C early this afternoon.
Sadly the week's scorching weather is not set to continue tomorrow, as temperatures cool and clouds spread across much of south east London and north Kent.

Temperature has risen again with 24.6 °C recorded at Gravesend. Quite a contrast to further north with Cluanie Inn only reaching 7.3 °C
