A man miraculously escaped with no injuries after a motorbike caught on fire while he was riding it.
The incident happened in Gravesend Road, at the junction with Charles Dickens Avenue, at around 10.15pm last Friday (March 20).
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: "The motorbike was completely destroyed by the fire and a signpost was also destroyed.
"The motorbike accidentally caught alight while it was being driven, possible due to a faulty electrical appliance."
One fire crew spent around half an hour at the scene.
