Fire crews spent three hours fighting a blaze in Northfleet on Saturday night, as two tonnes of straw and farm refuse continued to burn.
The field fire was on Southfleet Road, near the Pepperhill junction of the A2.
A fire engine was called at 5.15pm and was joined by another vehicle at 7.41pm which used specialist cutting equipment to finally bring the fire under control.
