It follows a Gravesham Council announcement that there will be disruption to some journeys this week, as filming work commences.
The council revealed there is ‘traffic management’ on Windmill Street, Railway Place and Manor Road yesterday and today from 5pm.
On Thursday, Windmill Street will be closed between Railway Place and Lord Street between 10am and 2am the next day.
Kent County Council’s film office would not disclose what was being filmed.
Local resident Naomi Adams joked: "Well we know it isn't Top Gear."
