A pair of chart-topping divas at opposite ends of their careers have announced shows in Greenwich.

Multi-platinum 21-year-old singer Ariana Grande will take in the O2 arena as part of her world tour on June 1 while multiple Grammy winner Bette Midler will return to the UK stage for the first time in 35 years, playing the same venue on July 18.

Midler’s show is part of her Divine Miss M tour and will feature material from her iconic career and her new album It’s The Girls! which features the sounds of women performers from the 40s to the 60s to the likes of 90s stars TLC.

Tickets for her show go on sale at 9am on Friday (November 21) at livenation.co.uk and cost from £56.

Ariana Grande is also known for her huge voice and this summer released the highly acclaimed album My Everything.

This summer, she dominated the radio with the Iggy Azalea collaboration Problem and has just unleashed her latest big track All My Love, which features on the new Hunger Games movie soundtrack.
