A credit union helping people in north Kent set up four years ago is going from strength-to-strength.
Kent Savers Credit Union is a cooperative to help people solve their money troubles and has recently welcomed its 2000th member and set up a new account for art lovers.
The organisation offers low cost financial services including budget accounts, savings accounts and loans to people in Kent, Bexley and Medway.
It recently announced its Art Saver account which helps people buy a piece of art or craft through instalments and welcomed its 2000th member Betsy Aidinyantz from Ashford.
Kent Savers general manager Chris Hunt said "We’re delighted to be able to launch the Art Saver account.
"Many members use Kent Savers for loans, but we’re also keen to promote savings.
"The Art Saver account joins our other dedicated savings account - our Christmas account - which helps our members to put money aside during the year for the Christmas period."
