A 33-year-old woman remains critically ill after being thrown from a motorcycle in Gravesend.

Police are investigating the crash which took place at around 3.20am yesterday morning (September 13) in Crooked Lane.

A black KTM off-road motorbike was travelling along Crooked Lane when the rider lost control of the bike and both he and his passenger were thrown from the vehicle.

The 23-year-old rider from Gravesend was taken to a Kent hospital with minor injuries while the passenger, also from Gravesend, was taken to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Her condition is described as critical but stable. 

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash and would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the motorbike just before the accident.
