A man arrested following an alleged assault in Northfleet, which left a man with serious head injuries, has been released without charge.
Officers were called at 11.46pm on August 3 to The Hill Pharmacy, The Hill, to reports of a man lying in the pavement bleeding heavily.
He was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident.
He was bailed pending further enquiries but was released without charge on September 4.
