START the New Year in the right way by being kinder to others – and earning rewards for it!
News Shopper’s Kindness Club was launched at the end of last year with the start of a list of local businesses offering deals and discounts to people who can show they have done a good deed.
Making a resolution to be nicer than normal to other people is a great way to start the New Year off, but it’s even better now you can earn rewards which so far include money off clothes, discounted holidays and reduced rates for services such as cleaning and decorating.
To become a member of the Kindness Club and gain access to the exclusive rewards, all you need to do is perform a kind act.
You could do a favour for someone, such as washing a neighbour’s car.
Or it could be something fun and silly, such as going out on the street and handing out your excess Christmas sweets.
Or you could undertake a worthy project, like businessman Steve Gibbs who is putting together a team of volunteers to decorate a local school.
So long as it puts smiles on people’s faces or brightens someone’s day a little, show us what you’ve done and you’ll gain membership of the Kindness Club.
