British Summer Time is drawing to a close this weekend, so what will you do with the extra hour?

On Sunday the clocks go back giving you a 25 hour day, a whole extra hour to do what you like with.

New research from Plusnet Mobile has revealed how Brits plan to spend this extra hour.

Plusnet said 76 per cent of Brits are choosing to spend their extra hour in bed asleep after a long, hard week.

Steve Wilson, Commercial and Marketing Director at Plusnet said: “The end of British Summertime means you literally get 25 hours in your day, and as the brand that believes in giving its customers more for less, we believe Plusnet Mobile is the perfect sponsor of the 25th Hour.”

The research also shows that the most important contributor to a good lie-in, with 48 per cent, is fresh bed sheets.

  • Watching TV

  • Getting a sweat on with exercise
  • Powering through life admin
  • Walking the dog
  • Scrolling through social media feeds, such as Instagram and Facebook
  • ‘Netflix and chill’
  • Calling friends and family
