TORY Councillor Mike Snelling has held onto his seat in Meopham North.
He was elected with the majority 1220 vote alongside fellow Conservative Councillor Laura Hryniewicz with 1051 votes. Both represented the same ward last year.
But Cllr Snelling will not know whether his party will remain in control of Gravesham Council until all results are counted.
The Tories also held onto seats in Riverview, where David Hurley and Mayor Bill Lambert were re-elected.
But in the former Conservative Central Ward, two Labour Councillors - Gurdip Rungar and Derek Sales took seats alongside Tory Cllr Greta Goatley who was re-elected.
Labour also took complete control of Painters Ash, a former Con/Con/Lab ward.
