A DATE has been set for a town's annual music, arts and crafts festival.
The Dartford Festival, which last year attracted crowds of around 40,000 people, is set to take place on July 19 and 20 at Central Park.
Dartford Council is hoping it can repeat the success of last year's event which saw performances from X-Factor stars - Ben Mills, Andy Abraham and Chico.
Residents are being encouraged to check out the festival's website for big announcements in the coming weeks.
Council portfolio holder for the festival, Councillor Patsy Thurlow, said: "Last year's festival was really impressive and a huge number of people turned out across the two days.
"There's more focus on top class entertainment on stage and community events in Central Park this year.
"I'd urge residents to keep an eye out on the website for some big announcements ahead."
