ANIMAL rights campaigners have been putting their message across to shoppers.
Four members of the Passive Pressure Animal Welfare Group handed out information about animal testing and collected money on Orpington High Street on July 21.
They raised £100 for Uncaged, an animal protection organisation based in Sheffield.
As well as raising money, the campaigners were also urging shoppers to boycott products made by companies which test on animals.
Jan Yarker, 60, of Birch Tree Avenue, West Wickham, founded the Passive Pressure Animal Welfare Group three-and-a-half years ago.
Mrs Yarker said: "Once people are aware, we find the huge majority want nothing to do with this massive corporate cruelty and change their shopping lists."
