Teenagers appear in court charged with the murder of Northfleet man
TWO teenagers have appeared at Maidstone Crown Court today charged with the murder a 29-year-old Northfleet man.
Emergency services were called to Holly Court – a block of flats in Northfleet High Street – to reports of a disturbance at 11.07pm last Thursday (June 21).
James Green was pronounced dead at the scene and a post mortem revealed he died from loss of blood due to stab wounds.
Tommy Presley, aged 18, of Bankside, Northfleet and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged with Mr Green’s murder last Sunday (June 24).
They will next appear at the court for a plea and case management hearing on September 21.
