A 24 year-old man from Abbey Wood has been charged over a knifepoint robbery at a supermarket in Darenth.
Vince Parmenter, of Pynham Close, was arrested after cash and cigarettes were stolen from a Co-op supermarket in Station Road, South Darenth, on December 28 last year.
Police believe four men armed with knives entered the Co-op and threatened staff before fleeing in a vehicle parked outside.
Parmenter was arrested on Wednesday (May 16) and charged with robbery and threatening a person with a blade.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court the following day and remanded in custody until his next hearing.
Kent Police is still trying to locate the other suspects.
