A 21 year-old man has been charged with a number of offences after police officers seized a stolen moped from his address in Swanley.
Charlie O'Grady-Thomas, of Laburnham Avenue, was arrested on Saturday, May 12, after he was spotted on an industrial estate just off London Road by a patrol car.
According to police, he then drove away on a moped when officers approached.
When Mr O'Grady-Thomas was apprehended, officers also seized a moped, which had been reported stolen from an address in Surrey.
After his arrest, O'Grady-Thomas was charged with obstructing officers, receiving stolen goods, dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving without a valid license.
He has been bailed to attend a hearing at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on May 29.
