Police hunting the accomplice of a burglar who was fatally stabbed by a pensioner have released a picture of a man they want to speak to.

Henry Vincent, 37, died after following a botched raid at a home in Hither Green after midnight on April 4.

Vincent was stabbed after he got into a struggle with the owner of South Park Crescent home – the 78-year-old Richard Osborn-Brooks.

The pensioner, who many people called a “hero” and started petitions and fundraisers in his support, was arrested on suspicion of murder but released last Friday (April 6) with no further action.

However officers have been unable to find the second man who was reported at the scene and the chase is on.

Police released the image of Billy Jeeves, 28, who has links to Orpington, Swanley and Cambridge, as a person they want to speak to.

Jeeves’ image was released alongside Henry Vincent in January this year as two people they would like to speak to in connection to a burglary in Farningham.

Detectives also found a burned out Vauxhall Astra van on Saturday in Star Lane in Orpington which they believe may be related to the burglary. The registration number is GU52 AXT.

If you have any information on Jeeves’ whereabouts, call 020 8721 4205 or 101, or call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
