London Bridge's redevelopment moved closer to completion when platforms reopened earlier this year but train users are being warned of closures this weekend.

Network Rail still need to finish engineering work on the tracks surrounding London Bridge, meaning weekend closures for London terminals on January 13 and 14.

There will be no trains to London Charing Cross, Waterloo East, Cannon Street and platforms 1-9 at London Bridge.

Diversions and closures will be in place for some train users, so extra time should be added to journeys.

Trains travelling from Orpington will be diverted to London Victoria. There will be no trains on the Hayes line, with a bus replacing train services.

There will be no trains from Charlton via Greenwich either, with buses in replacing the service.

Platforms at London Bridge reopened on January 2, and Cannon Street trains resumed calling at the station.
