British Transport Police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted on a train to Ebbsfleet.
A man, who was drunk according to police, started to make inappropriate remarks to her as they travelled on the service from St Pancras on August 20 last year.
The victim, a 20-year-old woman, did not know the man who sat opposite her when they boarded the train in London at about 9.30pm.
A spokesman for BTP said: "He began making inappropriate comments to her and then moved to sit next to the victim. He sexually assaulted her by attempting to kiss her whilst holding her hands.
"The offender then left the train at Ebbsfleet International."
Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak with.
Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 405040 quoting reference 628 of 15/08/2017. Alternatively, ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
