A police officer was injured in a car crash after a suspected burglar tried to flee in the early hours in Dartford.
Police were called at 2.30am on Thursday, December 21 after a man was seen allegedly testing locks on garages in St Vincent's Avenue.
Officers found two men sat in a van near the scene - who then tried to flee the area.
As men tried to drive from the scene they crashed into a police car, causing one officer minor injuries.
Police then chased the men to Thames Way in Gravesend where the pair were stopped.
Mountain bikes were found in the van and both men, a 31-year-old from Chartham and a 26-year-old from Gravesend, were arrested on suspicion of theft and burglary.
