Kent Police has charged a 25-year-old man
A Dartford man has been charged with carrying out unnecessary, overpriced building work to scam a victim out of more than £30,000.
James Dennard, of Darenth Wood Road in Dartford, is alleged to have committed the offence between September 13 and December 2 at a home in Princes Road.
Officers from the Kent and Essex serious crime directorate arrested and charged Mr Dennard with fraud by false representation against a victim, who is in his 60s.
Mr Dennard is due to appear before Medway magistrates on January 16.
