A woman has suffered serious injuries after falling from a third-floor balcony in Greenhithe.

Kent Police were called at about 8.15pm on Saturday (December 2) after the woman fell from the balcony at a house in Liverymen Walk.

Police attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue.

The woman had been trying to fix a faulty alarm on an exterior wall when she fell, police say.

She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A Kent Police spokesman said her injuries are not life-threatening.

There are no suspicious circumstances.
