What could be nicer than a festive ramble with friends? A festive ramble with friends where dogs are also welcome and you're helping out for a good cause, that's what.
Hospice charity Ellenor's Winter Walk is back on December 17 at a new venue - Jeskyns Community Woodland in Cobham, near Gravesend.
The hospice is encouraging people to bring their families to help those living with a terminal illness and raise money to keep providing end-of-life care.
Emma Bowles, events fundraiser at Ellenor said: “We are delighted to be hosting the Winter Walk at a brand new venue this year. With its beautiful landscape and family centric atmosphere, Jeskyns is the perfect spot for our festive walk, and we look forward to welcoming friends and families from across Kent.
“Last year we welcomed over 200 people to the event raising £3,906.16 – which was just incredible. Hopefully 2017 will be even bigger!”
All walkers will receive their very own Santa hat before they are sent off on the trail at 10am with the option to walk or run the 5km through the wintery woodland.
