The scene on the M25
There are delays of at least 45 minutes heading towards the Dartford Crossing.
Highways England has said that there are delays heading anti clockwise stretching back towards junction three.
The delays have been caused by an "earlier metering at the tunnels due to congestion".
Drivers are being warned to allow extra time for their journey.
