A man who allegedly tried to steal power tools from an empty house in Swanley has been charged with burglary.
Charlie Hobden, 25, was arrested on November 13 at his home in Hart Dyke Road in Swanley.
Hobden was arrested after tools including a Titan ground breaker and a gas torch were reported stolen following a break in at a house in Lynden Way, which was being renovated, on October 24.
Hobden has been charged with burglary and theft and bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on November 28.
